Stuart is primarily involved in the firm’s provision of internal and external audit and other services to the Further Education sector. His clients include 13 Further Education colleges across Scotland and in addition he is also involved in the provision of internal audit services to our university clients. This experience has given him a detailed understanding of the corporate governance, performance management and financial issues and risks relevant to the Scottish Further and Higher Education sector.
Stuart’s internal audit clients also include a range of local and central government bodies and research institutes.
Over the past 10 years Stuart has undertaken a range of Value for Money studies and Performance Management audits for local authority clients and he also has significant experience in year-end audit work, the audit of Statutory Performance Indicators and systems reviews, particularly in the Revenues areas.
