Margaret is experienced in all aspects of auditing and accounting, particularly year-end local authority accounts, corporate governance and systems reviews and performance audit including Best Value review, statutory performance indicators and other value for money studies.

She has many years’ experience in the local government sector, including councils, health boards and police and fire services. Margaret has also worked on joint inspections with Her Majesty’s Inspectorates for both police and fire services. She has also managed the audits of Local Government Superannuation Schemes carried out by the firm over the past few years
