Joanne has over 7 years experience in taxation. She deals with tax issues for owner managed businesses and individuals across a wide range of business sectors. She provides both compliance and advisory services to individuals, owner managed businesses and companies. She provides her clients with pro-active, timely and practical advice on any changes to legislation, both current and proposed. On the compliance side she advises her clients in a timely manner, helping them meet their obligations and manage their risk. She provides general tax advice to a wide range of clients, and has particular expertise in Residence & Domicile issues, Capital Gains Tax, Capital Allowances and Research & Development tax reliefs.

Joanne has dealt with clients at various stages of their business cycle, from their initial establishment, through the growth years & then to retirement or sale. She has provided pro-active and practical tax advice at each stage of the business cycle. She has also helped with business and asset acquisitions and disposals, and the associated tax implications.

Joanne has presented training seminars on behalf of ICAS, as well as on behalf of Henderson Loggie.  She also provides content for Henderson Loggie’s Direct Tax newsletter, Insight.
