Ian is the partner in charge of the Aberdeen office. He has over 30 years experience with a client portfolio which includes charities, public sector, upstream oil and gas companies, oil service companies, and owner-managed business clients. He has provided expert witness testimony in major cases in the oil and gas and local government sectors.

Ian is Convenor of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland Public Sector Committee and is Vice-chair of the Local Authority (Scotland) Accounts Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the CIPFA/LASAAC SORP Board.
