Our Charities
Every year we ask all our staff to nominate and vote for a national charity, along with one charity for each of our four offices. Through a variety of staff events and activities during the year, and with support from many of our clients, money is raised for each of the nominated charities.
This year’s nominated charities are:
National charity – Cancer Research
Aberdeen – CLAN house (cancer support)
Dundee – Dundee Stroke Recovery Club
Edinburgh – Capability Scotland
Glasgow – Yorkhill Childrens Hospital
Some of our activities:
Art exhibition raises £12,000 for Cancer Research UK
A special art exhibition held at Dundee University’s Bonar Hall in April of this year to celebrate local talent raised £12,200 for Cancer Research UK.
In conjunction with Thorntons Solicitors, Henderson Loggie sponsored the ninth biennial exhibition in April this year, showcasing the work of around 130 artists.
The funds raised at the exhibition opened by Professor Roland Wolf from Dundee University’s Molecular Pharmacology Unit will add to the £100,000 total raised for Cancer Research UK through the previous eight exhibitions.
